Fayie’s Favorite Cat Breed
Cats, Cats & Cats
Did you know, before a dog, before tiny cute puppies, I would pick to adopt a cat any day.
I always been a big cat fan, whether they are cute kittens or mature grown cats. All shape and size.
As a animal lover such as myself, how do I know I am more of a cat person than dog?
The answer was super simple, dogs, despite loving them, if I want to own one, I would be super selective on the breed.
If it isn’t one of my favorite breeds, I would low key not adopt. Doesn’t mean I won’t love them if they do join my family. It’s just not the same.
While cats on the other hand, it really does not matter. Whether they are a Norwegian Forest cat, a Persian cat, a savannah, Sphynx, ragdoll or Maine coon. Or they are just a plain Tabby Cat.
Despite saying that. I still have my favorite cat breeds.
You will be able to find my favorite dog breed here 🙂
Below, you would be able to find my favorite top 10 cat breeds.
The fur on this cat just says it all. An exotic pattern, with a playful gentle temperament.
Side note, my favorite animal entirely are leopards, maybe that’s why Bengals are ranked so high, I would love to own a miniature leopard.
Just something about this cat feels so majestic, and with their tail so long and furry, the Maine Coon always looks much bigger than she really is. Not just that, they look super cuddly, almost like a mini tiger.
Black cats are bad luck? Then hit me with all the black luck. I’ll adopt this black cutie any day of the week and nothing will change my mind.
While, I probably would never own this cat as I honestly don’t believe these exotic cats are household cats, regardless of my opinion she is still one of my favorites, a cross of Serval and a domestic, what more could I ask for?
Another fav of mine is this Exotic pet, the Egyptian Mau has leopardlike spots just like the Bengal Cat. Did you know, my favorite historic place is Egypt. One day, I want to be able to travel there and explore all there. Hopefully, humans haven’t destroyed it by then.
Siamese Cat are one of the most adorable cats out there. In my neighborhood, there was this half-stray Siamese Cat that always love roaming. It always avoided and sidestepped me whenever I was walking home. Until recently, it doesn’t avoid me, but it won’t let me pet her/him either. One day, I will pet her or him.
A variant to Domestic Short Hairs, but they are an breed descended from European cats that was brought to America in order to control the mice and rats. While Tabbys are not cat breeds, they are pretty much the summary of all the Domestic Shorthairs that are not really categorized. Never-the-less, they are one of my top favs for sure. The color nor the coat pattern doesn’t matter.
These beautiful snow white cats are a domestic breed originated from United Kingdoms. They are generally the cross between the Chinchilla Persian and Burmese cats.
A Toyger are usually a cross between a Bengal and a striped domestic shorthair. They are not wild cats and do not have any wild DNS within them. They are breed to resemble a toy tiger thus the name Toyger. They are quite low on my fav due to I do not support breeding selectively for coat patterns/color.
A fluff ball. Really what they are, majestic fluffy balls. One of the most beautiful cats in my opinion but similar to the Maine Coon, their long hair would probably drive me insane keeping it tidy everyday.
Despite having favorite breeds, if a stray or a cat in needs of any breed, I would still do my best to raise it and take care of it.
