If you’re eating grapes or raisins, your dog will most likely be nearby hoping you drop some on the floor. If he takes just one or more grapes or raisins, he will exhibit symptoms including any of the following
- Decreased appetite
- Dehydration
- Some signs of a state of laziness or dullness or weakness

If you suspect that your dog ate a grape or raisin, call your veterinarian immediately.
If left untreated, dogs may suffer kidney failure, which can be fatal. Proper care and treatment should be taken to prevent such a illness. Vets may recommend to induce vomiting, however, if your dog is struggling to breathe or showing signs of shock, don’t induce vomiting.
